Together – Demonstration in Rome

UK – USA – ITALY – EVERYWHERE

The security decrees.
The authoritarian turn.
The push for a presidential system.
The attack on the judiciary.
The normalization of the idea that protesting is no longer a right, and that the mass deportation of migrants is not a crime.

These are not isolated measures. They are parts of a single political project.

A project that connects the Meloni government to the broader global trajectory of autocracy and oligarchic power, from Trump onward, while war is reframed as a permanent condition disguised as “board of peace.”

As living conditions deteriorate, as wages shrink and public resources are drained, as industry, education, science, and labor are allowed to decline, those in power rely increasingly on fear, nationalism, and militarization to maintain control.

They have chosen a Europe of nations over a Europe of rights.
They have accelerated on every front: in legislation, in language, in repression.
They want us to believe that fighting for a better life, for a different world, makes us the problem.

But they have gone too far.

From today on, we must outnumber them not only in the streets, but in imagination and in organization. We must design a new world, claim it, and refuse to leave it in their hands.

March 28 must be more than a date. It must become a moment of broad collective strength, crossing the entire country, rising from territories and cities, and immediately connecting with global mobilizations. A confederation of struggles. A shared vision of the future. A checkmate to the kings.

On March 28, this will happen not only in Italy, but also in the United Kingdom, across Europe, and in the United States. Together, against the kings and their wars.

On March 28 in Rome, we want to say it with millions of people:

The era of kings is over.
The era of freedom begins.
